Tips and demonstration for mastering lacto-fermented cucumber pickles

It is time to head to the market and find yourself some pickling cucumbers. Here in southern Oregon, I see these cucumbers at farmers’ markets and grocery stores. I personally am not seeing them in my garden—a woeful tale about a June 17 frost—but I hope you are. If you cannot find pickling cucumbers the small Persian ones will work just as well.
