If you have made ferments at home you know some are very quiet—microbes doing their thing transforming your ingredients into yum. Others, well they are that kid in class that needs attention—bubbling wildly and tossing brine out of the jar. These are the ones that need a little managing while you are gone.
This is a quick little video for those of you that have those active ferments on your counter right now and you are going out of town, or need to clean off the counter before people come to your house.
